In first two weeks of July, PhD student (DC07) Francisco Morais Esteves, from the lab of Dr. Miranda de Graaf at Erasmus University Rotterdam visited the lab of Prof. Stefan Taube at the University of Lübeck. Francisco worked closely with fellow consortium PhD student (DC08) Iqra Kashif to gain hands-on training in culturing 3D human intestinal enteroids and performing human norovirus infections which is a critical tool for understanding virus-host interactions in human gut tissue.
A big thank you to the Taube Lab for hosting this valuable training and showing around Francisco the beautiful city of Lübeck!
